MY BODY, MY ___. Poetry & Performance, 2025

A collaboration between POETRY FROM THE FUTURE and the ProChoice Coalition - Voice for Choice, My Body, My ___, was a poetry open mic featuring a performace by poet Sam Alekssandra, percussionist Deborah Falzon and dancers Julienne Schembri and Francesca Zammit.

This evening was set up as a safe space to celebrate, reprise, grieve and hold our feelings about our bodies and their autonomy. Members of the audience could share their own writing or read a text that resonates with them as inspired by the theme; My Body, My __ .

The initiative was organised by Sam Vassallo and Fran Zammit.
